T-Ball World Series
I had a chance to go shoot a bunch of T-Ball studs at the local 2005 T-Ball World Series in Hoover, Ala. These guys could crank that ball!
GP Sports Begins...
So in my ever-increasing effort to expand my photography knowledge, I've decided to add a blog/web page dedicated to my sports photography.
I got my start in sports photojournalism back with the Shelby County Reporter in 2005. The paper's now-managing editor (who was the sports editor when I started there), Ashley Vansant, taught me the first stages of sports photography.
Working at the paper allowed me to hone my sports shooting skills with a variety of shooting opportunities. From the AHSAA Indoor High School Track and Field Meet to multiple Auburn Tigers football games, I was constantly able to face new challenges in sports photojournalism.
After leaving the reporter I fell out of sports photography. I feel like it's time to jump back in!
